The final of XII Edition of Infantile Games in Mindelo was held in 15 June, in the sports courts Oeiras and the winner was kindergarten Piduca. This year about 900 children from almost kindergartens from São Vicente island took part in the event, providing it with glitz and splendour for the Infantile Games organised under the theme “Playing, learn and grow”.
This year the final was disputed among five teams from the following kindergartens: “Piduca”, Good Pastor, St. Francis, “Laidinha Lima” e “Nosso Amiguinho”, and having as the winner the kindergarten Piduca from the site of São Pedro.
It is to be added that the five finalists to this year have gone out from an eliminatory process, where could participate 20 kindergartens. Having in consideration that the goal of the game is promoting a spirit of brotherhood, cooperation and respect, we do believe that all these purposes were achieved, said the responsible for the Infantile Game in Mindelo.
