On Monday, 20 February, came the much-awaited day when the children from the municipality of Santa Catarina paraded through the streets of Assomada, in the morning, with themes depicting the food, environment and music. SOS Kindergarten Assomada had as its theme "The Nourishement" and the 74 children were dressed in strawberry, carrot, corn and apple.
Along the children and caregivers of kindergarten were family members who came to see the parade through the main streets of Assomada. With so much support and enthusiasm from the people there was a strong impression that our message of respect for the Balanced Diet was passed in a lot of fun.
