The final of XII edition of Infantile Games in Santiago Island was held on 30 June, in the sporting pavilion of Nhagar, Assomada town, and the kindergarten Rosy Mar from Ribeira da Barca was the big winner.
Under the theme “play, learn and grow together” the final had not a strong adherence of children and kindergarten's co-workers. There were just over 50 children and kindergarten's co-workers belonging to the kindergartens of Santa Catarina, São Salvador do Mundo, Tarrafal, São Lourenço dos Órgãos, São Salvador do Mundo, Santa Cruz, São Domingos and from Praia.
The final was disputed among the kindergartens Rosy Mar from Ribeira da Barca, Sorrisso of Calabaceira, Praia town, Girassol of Tarrafal, São Lourenço dos Órgãos, São Salvador and Santa Cruz.
In the knockout stage among the kindergartens from different municipalities of Santiago came out the winners which participated in the XII edition.
That is to say that the Infantile Games were organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Sports and it was held all over the country from 25 May to 30 June.
